To make the teeth of our top quality blades we use our own unique, patented method of profile grinding. Profile grinding produces identical ultra-sharp teeth of uniform geometry. Munkfors was the first company to develop this technique that was revolutionary when first introduced, and we have been refining it ever since. As we manufacture the special profile-grinding machines ¬ – now in their third generation – none of our competitors have been able to copy our patented technology or produce its superior results.

Because our profile-grinding method allows the use of harder steel than with conventional sharpening methods, we can increase blade reliability and stability. As a result, our profile ground blades cut cleaner, produce less material waste and last longer.
